Popular Irish television presenter Sinead Kennedy is best known as the co-host of RTÉ's flagship afternoon show, The Today Show.

Sinead's television career began in 2003 as a presenter on RTÉ's Young People’s programming where her on-screen presence and warmth quickly established her as a rising talent. Over the next several years, Sinead cemented herself as a household name by hosting some of RTÉ's most popular primetime shows like the hugely successful gameshow, Winning Streak. She demonstrated her versatility through hosting prominent live event series including the wildlife programme, Zoo Live, and the magazine show, Summer at 7, and has fronted many of the national broadcaster's biggest family television events over the last number of years including the annual St. Patricks Festival Parade, the Eurovision Song Contest jury vote, Christmas Carols in Dublin Castle and the New Year’s Eve Live countdown programme.

Beyond her accomplishments as an on-air host, Sinead has won several awards for her work creating impactful documentaries. Most recently, she produced and narrated Age, Sex, Location (RTÉ Radio One) which shed light on catching online predators. She produced This is Me (RTÉ One) which documented the late Laura Brennan’s battle with cervical cancer and her tireless campaign work around the HPV vaccine. In 2017, Sinead produced The Crossing (RTÉ One), which saw her join the crew of the Irish Navy where she witnessed the rescue of over 2,000 migrants who had fled war torn Libya on rubber boats in the hopes of a better life.

An experienced event host, Sinead has emceed corporate functions, awards ceremonies, panel discussions, and more. Highlights include hosting events at Áras an Uachtaráin, the IWish showcase, the FÍS Awards, the Cork Digital Media Marketing Awards, the Workplace Excellence Awards, and the Texaco Art Awards to name just a few.

With her easy rapport and proven versatility across live broadcasting, documentary production, and event presentation, Sinead Kennedy remains one of country’s most popular personalities.
